Addressed to GERMANY with added Indian 1926 3a ultramarine (SG 208) on front tied by fine LANDIKHANA cds to pay the onward postage to Germany. Afghanistan did not join the UPU until 1st April 1928 hence the stamps of the country were only valid for internal mail. (AFG/1615)
