Airmail cover endorsed 'Via Condor Lati' on front with manuscript 'Rem. H Weis, Consulato Aleman, Avenida Colon 10, Cordoba, Argentina' return address on reverse franked with 1936 5 x 25c carmine red & pink and 1939 20c blue (SG 656 & 677) all tied by multiple fine strikes of SANTA ROSA DE CALAMUCHITA CR cds dated 25 FEB 1941. Addressed to 'Familie Josef Weis, Wolfsartomuenstr 10, Karlsbruke, Baden, Alemania' with German censor strip tied by censor marks on reverse. Helmut Weis was a corporal in the 9th Division engineering corps aboard the Graf Spee and was interned in the Villa Belgrano area of Cordoba Province. A scarce cover from the early period where the mail was forwarded by the German Embassy. A One page write up accompanies including a photo of Helmut Weis.
