Airmail cover endorsed 'Via Condor-Lati' on front with manuscript 'Abs H Weis, Consulato Aleman, Avenida Colon 10, Cordoba, Argentina' return address on reverse franked with 1936 2 x 50c vermilion & salmon, 1939 2 x 20c blue and 1941 5c dark blue & light blue (SG 659, 677 & 694) all tied by two fine strikes of VILLA CALAMUCHITA COR cds dated 1 ABR 1941. Addressed to 'Familie Marta Kushhart, Calrerstr 10, Sporzheim, Baden, Alemania' with German censor strip tied by censor marks on reverse. Helmut Weis was a corporal in the 9th Division engineering corps aboard the Graf Spee and was interned in the Villa Belgrano area of Cordoba Province. A scarce cover from the early period where the mail was forwarded by the German Embassy. A One page write up accompanies including a photo of Helmut Weis.
