Incoming airmail cover from Germany with manuscript 'Mit Luftpost nach Sudamerika' on front franked with 1933 25pf ultramarine, 50pf black & green and 100pf black & yellow orange 'Hindenburg' issue (SG 503B, 506B & 509B) tied by OLDENBURG cds's dated 15.11.1941. Addressed to 'Herrn Siegfried Petersen, Consulado Alemania, 9 Julio. 180 Cordoba, Argentina' with 'Graf Spee' endorsement in red crayon added on arrival at the consulate. Censored with various small censor marks and CORDOBA arrival mark on reverse. Siegfried Petersen was a corporal in the 8th Division machine corps aboard the Graf Spee and was interned in the Villa Belgrano area of Cordoba Province. A scarce cover from the early period where the mail was forwarded by the German Embassy. A One page write up accompanies including a photo of Siegfried Petersen.
