1d carmine on buff GVI postal stationery card (H&G 9) used with added 1938 ½d green, 1d scarlet and 2d chocolate brown GVI issue (SG 118/119 & 121) tied by two fine strikes of small KANYE 'Emergency' thimble cancel dated 3 FEB 1953. Sent airmail to UK. The earliest known use of this postmark which was previously only recorded as being used between 8th May and 13th June 1953. Rare.
