Badly damaged & burned airmail cover from RECIFE to PORTO ALEGRE flown on the Condor Junkers JU52 aeroplane 'Guarany' which crashed near SANTOS on 22nd May while flying the Rio de Janeiro - Porto Alegre route. The cover has two strikes of the straight line 'ACCIDENTE DE AVIAO' handstamp in purple. Scarce.
