Addressed to 'Gazeta de St Cruz' (Newspaper) in SANTA CRUZ and censored with printed black on buff 'S.P. ABERTA PELA CENSURA' censor strip tied by triangular 'CORREIO BRAZIL CENSURA' censor mark and oval '63' both in magenta on front & reverse. These censors were in place due to the Food Riots and Peasant revolts in the South of Brazil during 1917-1919.
