Cover with 'Gustave MULLER, 147, avenue d'Amerique, ANVERS (Belgique)' handstamp on front franked with Belgium 1922 60c olive and 1f carmine, 1929 5c slate green and 1929 2 x 5c+5c chocolate (SG 364, 367, 490 & 552) all tied by ANTWERPEN cds's dated 15.1.1930 and additionally franked with Colombia 1923 4c blue national issue and 1929 20c rose red SCADTA issue (SG 395 & 59) tied by CALI SCADTA cds's dated 2.XII.1930 (almost a year later). These two stamps were added after the cover we received, the 20c rose was previously used with the CALI cds applied over the original cds on this stamp. Addressed to 'Josef Sonntag' a known forger based in CALI with boxed CALI arrival mark on reverse dated 18 FEB 1930. This was originally a standard cover sent from Belgium to Colombia with the Scadta stamps added by Sonntag at a later date to create a more valuable item. Interesting and unusual.
