Cover with superb strike of the 'Crowned' PAID AT ST. THOMAS marking in red (SG CC1) on front with oval 'P' paid mark also in red and small ST THOMAS cds in black dated JA 18 1858 on reverse. Addressed to DENMARK rated 6d and 1/4½ in manuscript on front with LONDON PAID transit cds in red on front and HAMBURG transit cds and Danish arrival mark on reverse. The cover is missing its side flaps and one of the inner flaps at the top and has a couple of light tones but displays well.
