1d carmine 'Postage Due' issue of Great Britain used in Ireland tied on small piece during the transition period by CORK cds dated FEB 22 1923. British postage dues were allowed for use through to the issue of Irish postage dues in 1925 as they did not include an image of the British monarch. Very scarce. (SG D2)
