Cover franked with single 1927 20c black & orange buff GV issue (SG 96) tied by fine strike of LUPA RIVER 'Skeleton' cds dated 24 OCT 1933 of the Lupa River Goldfields. Addressed to GWELO, SOUTHERN RHODESIA routed via MOZAMBIQUE with CORREOS BEIRA transit cds and MBEYA and DARESSALAAM transit cds's all on reverse. The Lupa River P.O. is recorded as only operating between March 1932 and June 1934 at Lupa River after which it was transferred to Chunya P.O. and operated there until August 1935. Very scarce.
