Rep. of Mexico' imprint at top left franked with 1934 1p red brown & grey green and 1940 30c blue (SG 579 & 653) tied by MERIDA cds dated 1 MAY 1941 with boxed registration marking alongside. Addressed to USA with red 'Starburst' registration seal on reverse tied by various transit & arrival marks. The French Philatelic Agency was one of the companies used by Raoul de Thuin to sell his forgeries and this cover would have contained forgeries that had been bought by an unsuspecting customer.
