3c blue on light blue 'Seebeck' postal stationery card (H&G 33) date lined on reverse 'Karata 22 Julio 1896' with message written in German is from a member of the Moravian Mission at Karata asking for a duplicate Bill for good purchased.' The card is cancelled with BLUEFIELDS 'Target' duplex cds dated AGO 2 1893 showing a 10 day transit time between leaving Karata and being put into the mails at Bluefields. The card is addressed to GERMANY with transit and arrival marks and was pictured and described in an article from the January 2011 issue of Nicaro, the Journal of the Nicaraguan Study group, the article accompanies. A very rare origination.
