1d rose QV issue used with good strike of TAIPA cds (Type A - rated scarcity 7 in Wooders) dated 1897. This was the P.O. for the Timber Mill in Doubtless Bay which operated from 1893 - 1926 when it was closed. Small thin but scarce. (SG 228)
