Cover franked with 1884 ½dd dull green, pair 1d rose carmine and 2½d ultramarine QV issue (SG 27/28 & 31) tied by multiple strikes of barred numeral 'B31' cancels in black with FREETWON cds in dark red alongside dated AUG 5 1894. Addressed to IRELAND with PAID LIVERPOOL PACKET cds in red on front and G S & W. R.P.O. DOWN DAY Irish TPO transit cds on reverse. Cover has some small opening faults at top and a few other peripheral tears but otherwise very attractive and scarce.
