Stampless incoming cover from Liverpool with fine LIVERPOOL cds dated AP 16 1850 on front and rated '1/-' in manuscript and sent via London with red LONDON cds dated 17 AP on reverse. Addressed to 'Camille Mallet Parch, Island of St. Lucia, West Indies'. The cover has been disinfected on arrival with vinegar or acid with discolouration on front panel. The disinfection was due to large outbreaks of Cholera in the West Indies at this date.
